  This is a relatively run down side of town, so we were a bit nervous when we first approached this building. But we quickly grew to genuinely love the people here! I have personally learned so much from the members of this congregation, currently named the Central Falls Ward. We continue to keep in contact with many members of this unit and expect that several will prove to be lifelong friends. Go in and introduce yourself. There are some exceptional people who meet in this building!
  
  This unit is a bilingual English and Portuguese unit with full Portuguese translation available. While meetings are typically all English, missionaries translate into Portuguese using a microphone. Headsets are available for Portuguese speakers. There is also a strong minority of Spanish speakers in this ward. Testimony meetings (held the first Sunday of every month) are often mostly English, but Portuguese and Spanish members also often elect to share their testimonies. Hymns are posted in both English and Portuguese.
  
  LDS people (or Mormons) attend congregations by geographical boundaries, so I am not a member of this ward anymore. We attended here for 9 short months, ending with the boundary changes in April 2013 [we now attend the Providence 2nd Branch in downtown Providence at 275 Westminster Street].
